Ingredients for Tea Cookies Recipe

  • Refined Flour 225 grams

  • Candied Cherries 75 grams

  • Butter 150 grams

  • Egg 1

  • Candied cherries 20-25


Step 1

Preheat oven at 220º C.

Step 2

Sift sugar into a bowl, add butter and cream them together with an electric beater till smooth.

Step 3

Break egg into the bowl and continue to beat with the beater.

Step 4

Sift flour into the same bowl and mix well.

Step 5

Divide dough into equal portions and shape them into balls. Flatten the balls and place them on a baking tray. Place a candied cherry on top of each cookie.

Step 6

Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 7-8 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.

Step 7

Serve or store in an airtight container.
