Whole wheat flour (atta)
1 1/2 cups
Jaggery (gur) grated
Sesame seeds (til)
Heat a non-stick pan, add grated jaggery and two tablespoons water and cook on low heat till the jaggery melts. Remove from heat and cool.
Mix flour, melted jaggery, sesame seeds, ghee, salt and sufficient water in a bowl and knead to make a stiff dough.
Divide the dough into four equal portions and roll out each portion into five inch diameter rotis.
Heat a non-stick tawa and cook the rotis, one by one, on medium heat, turning sides, till equally golden on both sides.
Apply some ghee on the rotis and serve.
