A slight hint of green cardamom powder gives most of these a beautiful aroma and taste that has always been associated with mithais.

Ingredients for Sukhdi Recipe

  • Whole wheat flour 250 grams

  • Ghee 250 grams + to grease

  • Jaggery grated 200 grams


Step 1

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add whole wheat flour and sauté on a medium heat till it turns golden brown in colour.

Step 2

Switch of the heat and add jaggery, mix well.

Step 3

Grease a mithai tray with ghee. Pour the prepared mixture in the tray and allow to cool down.

Step 4

Once set cut into squares and serve.
