By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Mar 2021 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Semolina (suji), Rice flour Cuisine South Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 7-8 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Suji Pancakes 1 cup Semolina (suji) 1 tablespoon Rice flour 1/2 cup Yogurt 3 tablespoons Carrot grated 3 tablespoons Spinach shredded to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds to taste Black peppercorns cruhsed to shallow fry Oil to serve Coconut chutney to serve Tomato chutney Method Mix the semolina and rice flour in a bowl, add yogurt and mix well. Cover and set aside overnight or for at least 6-8 hours. Add carrot, spinach, salt, cumin seeds and crushed peppercorns and mix well. You can add a little water if required to adjust the consistency. Drizzle little oil on a non-stick tawa. Spread small spoonful of batter to make 3 pancakes and spread slightly. Drizzle some oil and allow the underside to cook. Flip and cook the other side similarly. Make more pancakes similarly.
