Ingredients for Sprouted Moong Ka Pizza Recipe

  • Moong Sprouts 1 cup

  • Mini Brown Pizza Bases 4

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Onions 3 medium

  • Salt to taste

  • Dried oregano as required

  • Pizza sauce 8 tablespoons

  • Mozzarella cheese grated 1 cup

  • Fresh spinach leaves (palak) 10-12

  • Red chillies crushed 1/4 teaspoon

  • Olive oil 2 teaspoons

  • Honey 2 teaspoons

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Chop onions. Heat oil in a non stick pan, add onions and sauté.

Step 2

Heat pizza bases, one after the other, in another non stick pan till lightly crisp.

Step 3

When onions soften, add moong sprouts, salt, a pinch of dried oregano and cook on low heat for a couple of minutes.

Step 4

Spread pizza sauce over the pizza bases, spread the sprout mixture, sprinkle mozzarella cheese and cook them, one after the other, in a heated non stick pan. Cover and cook till cheese melts.

Step 5

Meanwhile chop spinach roughly and put into a bowl. Add salt, crushed red chillies olive oil, honey and mix well. Add lemon juice and mix to make a salad.

Step 6

Place the pizzas on individual serving plates, place some of the spinach salad in the center of each and serve immediately.
