Ingredients list for Spinach And Cheese Rolls

  • 1 medium Spinach blanched and chopped
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella grated
  • 8 Spring roll sheets
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 5-6 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Green chillies chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Refined flour (maida)
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, ginger, green chillies and sauté till light brown. Add spinach, salt and cook till the mixture is dry. Transfer into a bowl and allow to cool.
  2. Add cheese and mix well. Mix refined flour with sufficient water to make a thick paste. Apply the paste on the sides of spring roll sheets. Place a portion of spinach-cheese filling and roll tightly. Press the edges to seal.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the rolls on medium heat till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
