Ingredients for Spinach And Cheese Rolls Recipe

  • Spinach blanched and chopped 1 medium

  • Mozzarella grated 1/2 cup

  • Spring roll sheets 8

  • Olive oil 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic finely chopped 5-6 cloves

  • Ginger chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Green chillies chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Refined flour (maida) 2 tablespoons

  • Oil to deep fry

Method

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, ginger, green chillies and sauté till light brown. Add spinach, salt and cook till the mixture is dry. Transfer into a bowl and allow to cool.

Step 2

Add cheese and mix well. Mix refined flour with sufficient water to make a thick paste. Apply the paste on the sides of spring roll sheets. Place a portion of spinach-cheese filling and roll tightly. Press the edges to seal.

Step 3

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the rolls on medium heat till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
