Soya chunks ground with sprouts, onions and other masalas, mixed with besan, shaped into vadas and deep fried

  • Soya bean chunks soaked
    1/2 cup
  • Sprouted moong
    1/2 cup
  • Onion roughly chopped
    1 small
  • Ginger
    1/2 inch piece
  • Garlic
    2-3 cloves
  • Curry leaves
  • Dill leaves (suva)
    1 cup
  • coriander leaves
    1/2 cup
  • Green chilli chopped
  • Salt
    to taste
  • Gram flour (besan)
    3 teaspoons
  • Oil
    to deep fry


Step 1

Blend together soya chunks, sprouts, onions, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, dill leaves, coriander leaves, green chillis, salt and mix well.

Step 2

Add besan and mix with a little water such that the mixture can easily made into balls.

Step 3

Heat oil in no stick kadai and deep fry the ball till golden brown.Serve hot with green chutney.
