Add garlic. Roughly chop green chillies and add and grind to a fine paste. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and let them change colour. Add ground paste and sauté till lightly browned. Add spinach puree and ¼ cup water and mix well. Cut sweet potatoes into big cubes and add to the pan and mix well. Add chickpeas and mix well. Add salt and garam masala powder and mix well. Cook till the mixture thickens. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with ginger strips and serve hot.
