Ingredients for Schezwan Chicken Pakora Recipe

  • Chicken cut into strips 350 grams

  • Schezwan Chutney 4 teaspoons

  • Garlic cloves 10-15

  • Ginger 1 1/2 inch

  • Curry leaves 1/4 cup

  • Oil to deep fry

  • Rice flour 1/2 cup

  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Grind garlic, ginger and curry leaves with a little water and put the paste in a bowl. Add schezwan chutney and chicken strips and mix well. Add a little water and mix and set aside to marinate for ½ hour.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.

Step 3

Place rice flour in a plate, add a little salt and mix well. Roll the chicken strips in this, dust off excess flour, slide into hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp.

Step 4

Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 5

Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
