Ingredients list for Sago Pudding

  • 1/2 cup Sago soaked in ¾ cup water overnight
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1/3 cup Palm jaggery grated
  • Coconut milk ½ cup + for topping
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Drain sago and place them in a non-stick pan. Add one cup water and cinnamon powder and mix well. Cook till the mixture thickens.
  2. Add jaggery, coconut milk and salt and cook, stirring continuously, for ten to twelve minutes.
  3. Put the pudding into serving bowls, top with some coconut milk and serve warm.
