Ingredients for Sago Pudding Recipe

  • Sago soaked in ¾ cup water overnight 1/2 cup

  • Cinnamon powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Palm jaggery grated 1/3 cup

  • Coconut milk ½ cup + for topping

  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Drain sago and place them in a non-stick pan. Add one cup water and cinnamon powder and mix well. Cook till the mixture thickens.

Step 2

Add jaggery, coconut milk and salt and cook, stirring continuously, for ten to twelve minutes.

Step 3

Put the pudding into serving bowls, top with some coconut milk and serve warm.
