Ingredients list for Paneer in Garlic Lemon Sauce

  • 250 grams Cottage Cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon rind grated
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 4-5 + for fresh curly parsley sprigs

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stickpan, add dried chillies and sauté till crisp. Add garlic and ginger and sauté till garlic is browned.
  2. Cut cottage cheese into small cubes and add to the pan. Add salt and mix and cook on high heat till the cottage cheese is lightly browned. Add red chilli powder, black pepper powder, honey, lemon juice and lemon rind and cook on high heat for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Finely chop parsley and add to the pan. Simmer for a minute.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with parsley sprig and serve immediately.
