Ingredients list for Oatmeal Jaggery Cookies
- 1 cup Oatmeal
- ¾ cup Jaggery
- 1 cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
- ¼ cup + fo Olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper powder
- ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried ginger powder (soonth)
- a pinch Soda bicarbonate
- ½ cup Milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray with oil.
- Put oatmeal, wheat flour, olive oil, powdered jaggery, black pepper powder, cinnamon powder andginger powder in a bowl and mix well.
- Add soda and mix well. Add milk and mix well. Set aside.
- Drop dollops of oatmeal mixture on the greased traykeeping some distance between each. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove tray from oven and cool down to room temperature.
- Arrange the cookies on a serving plate and serve.
