Moongphali Ki Tikki

Ingredients

  • Roasted peanuts coarsely ground1/2 cup

  • Gram flour (besan) roasted1/2 cup

  • Spinach leaves (palak) chopped8

  • Green chillies finely chopped3

  • Onion chopped1 medium

  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Oil 1 tablespo

  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Mix peanuts, gram flour, spinach, green chillies, onion, chaat masala, lemon juice, one tablespoon oil, salt and sufficient water in a bowl and knead into a soft dough.

Step 2

Divide the dough into eight equal portions and shape them into tikkis. Flatten them slightly between your palms.

Step 3

Heat oil in a non-stick pan and shallow fry the tikkis, turning sides, till golden brown on both sides.

Step 4

Serve hot with a chutney of your choice.
