Moong Dosa

Main Ingredients

Moth sprouts, Dosa Batter

  • Moth sprouts
    1 1/2 cups
  • Dosa Batter
  • Green chillies
  • Ginger
    2 inch piece
  • Red chilli powder
    1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder
    1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt
    to taste
  • Oil
    to shallow fry


Step 1

Mix together moong sprouts, ½ cup water and salt in a bowl and cook in a microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes.

Step 2

Drain extra water. Chop green chillies and ginger.

Step 3

Take dosa batter in a bowl, add green chillies, ginger, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and moong sprouts and mix well.

Step 4

Heat a non stick dosa tawa, grease it with a little oil. Pour small quantities of dosa batter and spread into small dosas.

Step 5

Cook on a low heat, turning sides, till both sides are evenly cooked.

Step 6

Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
