Mexican Chicken Fajita

Mexican Chicken Fajita Recipe - How to make Mexican Chicken Fajita

  • Tortillas 4

  • Chicken breasts cut into thin strips2

  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons

  • Onions halved and sliced horizontally2 medium

  • Green capsicums sliced2 medium

  • Soy sauce 2 teaspoons

  • Dried red chillies crushed1

  • Black peppercorns crushed4-6

  • Salt to taste

  • Brown sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Cheese grated1/4 cup

  • Jalapeno sliced2


Step 1

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 2

Add onions and sauté for a minute. Add garlic and capsicum and stir. Add chicken and stir-fry for two minutes. Add soy sauce, crushed red chillies, crushed peppercorns and stir. Add salt, brown sugar and a little water and cook till the chicken is done.

Step 3

Heat a sizzler plate and put the chicken on it. Take a tortilla, place a little chicken mixture in the centre, sprinkle grated cheese and jalapeno pepper slices.

Step 4

Roll and serve immediately.
