Ingredients list for Melon In White Wine Syrup

  • 1 Muskmelon peeled, seeded and cut into big cubes
  • 2 cups White wine
  • 4 Green cardamoms
  • 1 Star anise
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • 1 inch stick Cinnamon
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 8-10 drops Sugar Free Natura
  • 1 Lemon
  • 12 Fresh cherries

Method

  1. Heat white wine in a deep non stick pan. Addgreen cardamoms, star anise, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and ½ cup water. Let it brew for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add sugar free natura drops and mix.
  3. Pare off the skin of a lemon and add to the wine. Switch off heat and transfer the mixture into a bowl and set aside to cool.
  4. Put melon cubes in 4 stemmed glasses. Pour the flavoured wine syrup over them. Garnish each glass with 3 fresh cherries and serve.
