Melon In White Wine Syrup Recipe - How to make Melon In White Wine Syrup

  • Muskmelon peeled, seeded and cut into big cubes 1

  • White wine 2 cups

  • Green cardamoms 4

  • Star anise 1

  • Cloves 4-5

  • Cinnamon 1 inch stick

  • Bay leaves 2

  • Sugar Free Natura 8-10 drops

  • Lemon 1

  • Fresh cherries 12


Step 1

Heat white wine in a deep non stick pan. Addgreen cardamoms, star anise, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and ½ cup water. Let it brew for 3-4 minutes.

Step 2

Add sugar free natura drops and mix.

Step 3

Pare off the skin of a lemon and add to the wine. Switch off heat and transfer the mixture into a bowl and set aside to cool.

Step 4

Put melon cubes in 4 stemmed glasses. Pour the flavoured wine syrup over them. Garnish each glass with 3 fresh cherries and serve.
