Ingredients list for Mattha
- 2 cups Yogurt
- 1 inch piece Ginger peeled
- 3 Green chillies destemmed
- a few sprigs Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- a pinch Asafoetida
- to taste Salt
Method
- Grind together ginger, green chillies and half the coriander leaves into a fine paste. Whisk yogurt, add the ground paste, asafoetida and one litre of water gradually. Mix thoroughly.
- Adjust salt and add remaining coriander leaves, stir and keep in the refrigerator to chill. Serve chilled.
