Ingredients list for Masaledar Shimla Mirch Wale Chawal

  • 2 medium Green Capsicum chopped
  • 3 cups Basmati Rice cooked
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • 2 Dried red chillies broken
  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoons Garam masala powder
  • 2 teaspoons Pav bhaji masala
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté till light brown. Add dried red chillies and sauté for a minute.
  2. Add green capsicums, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and pav bhaji masala. Mix well and sauté for two minutes. Add rice and salt and toss to mix. Cook for another minute. Serve hot.
