Ingredients for Long Beans With Honey Sesame Recipe

  • String beans (chavli) long beans 250 grams

  • Honey 4 tablespoons

  • Sesame seeds (black) toasted 2 tablespoons

  • Oil 3 tablespoons

  • Ginger chopped 2 inch pie

  • Garlic chopped 7-8 cloves

  • Dark soy sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli paste 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Peanuts crushed toasted 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Trim the beans and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non stick wok pan. Add garlic and ginger and sauté. Add dark soy sauce, red chilli paste, ¼ cup water and salt and mix well.

Step 3

Add beans and mix. Add honey and mix. Add peanuts and mix.

Step 4

Transfer the beans into a serving plate, drizzle the sauce remaining in the wok over them, garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot.
