Ingredients list for Long Beans With Honey Sesame
- 250 grams String beans (chavli) long beans
- 4 tablespoons Honey
- 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds (black) toasted
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 2 inch pie Ginger chopped
- 7-8 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Red chilli paste
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Peanuts crushed toasted
Method
- Trim the beans and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain.
- Heat oil in a non stick wok pan. Add garlic and ginger and sauté. Add dark soy sauce, red chilli paste, ¼ cup water and salt and mix well.
- Add beans and mix. Add honey and mix. Add peanuts and mix.
- Transfer the beans into a serving plate, drizzle the sauce remaining in the wok over them, garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot.
