Ingredients list for Kiri Aluwa
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- 1/4 cup Jaggery grated
- 250 grams Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 50 grams Cashewnuts roughly chopped
- for greasing Ghee
Method
- Boil coconut milk, jaggery and sugar in a non-stick pan stirring continuously till the mixture is golden brown. Remove the pan from heat.
- Add vanilla essence and cashewnuts and mix well.
- Grease an aluminum tray with ghee.
- Pour the mixture into the tray and spread it evenly. Cut into square pieces and set aside to cool.
- Arrange them on a serving platter and serve.
