Ingredients list for Khichuri
- 1 cup Rice soaked
- 1/2 cup Split Green Gram Skinless
- 2 teaspoons Ghee
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Green chilli
- 1 small Cauliflower cut into florets
- 1 Carrot cut into 1 cm pieces
- 5-6 French beans cut into diamonds
- 1 medium Potato quartered
- 1 medium Tomato cut
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoons Sugar
Method
- Dry roast the moong dal till light brown. Remove and keep it aside.
- Heat ghee in a non stick pan, add bay laef, green chillies and saute for a minute.
- Add cauliflower, carrot, french beans, potatoes, tomatoes and saute for a minute.
- Add turmeric powder, salt, sugar and half cup water and cook till vegetables are tender.
- Serve hot.
