Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons roasted white sesame seeds + for sprinkling
- 250 grams French beans, stringed
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil (til oil)
- 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of ½ lemon
Method
- Blanch French beans in hot water with some salt. Transfer the beans in a bowl of ice-cold water to refresh. Drain and use.
- Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan. Add ginger, mix and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add French beans, soy sauce, honey, chilli flakes and salt and toss to mix.
- Add lemon zest and lemon juice, mix well and cook for a minute. Add sesame seeds and toss to mix.
- Sprinkle some sesame seeds and serve hot.
