Ingredients list for Gulab Jamun Muffins

  • 30-35 small Gualb Jamun
  • for sprink Refined Flour 140 gms +
  • 1/2 teaspoon Soda bicarbonate
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 120 grams White butter
  • 250 grams Condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 200 grams Khoya/mawa
  • 80 ml Milk

Method

  1. Preheat oven at 180° C.
  2. Place gulab jamuns in a plate. Sprinkle refined flour on them and mix till they are well coated.
  3. Mix together 140 gms refined flour, soda bicarbonate, baking powder in a bowl and mix well.
  4. In another bowl whisk white butter. Add condensed milk, little at a time, and mix. Add vanilla essence and mix well. Add khoya and whisk till the mixture thickens.
  5. Add flour mixture and whisk well. Add milk and mix well.
  6. Pour the batter into silicon moulds till half full, place 4-5 gulab jamuns in each mould. Pour the remaining batter over.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Cool to room temperature, remove from moulds, arrange on a serving plate and serve.
