By Sanjeev Kapoor 17 Nov 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Black eyed beans, Spinach leaves (palak) Cuisine French Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Grilled Spinach Cutlets 1 cup Black eyed beans soaked and boiled 1 medium bunch Spinach leaves (palak) shredded 1 Green chilli finely chopped 1/2 inch piece Ginger grated 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Fennel seed (saunf) powder 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) a pinch Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt for shallow frying Oil Method Grind beans to a fine thick paste and transfer into a bowl. Add spinach, green chilli, ginger, coriander powder, fennel powder, carom seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt and mix well. Divide the mixture into eight equal portions and shape them into round cutlets. Heat oil in a non-stick grill pan. Shallow-fry the cutlets, turning sides, till both sides are evenly done. Serve hot.
