Ingredients list for Golden Rice Rings
- 2 cups Rice Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 cup Coconut grated
- a pinch Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- a pinch Asafoetida
- 5 Green chillies chopped
- to taste Salt
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Boil milk in a non stick pan. Blend together onion, coconut, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, Asafetida and green chillies till smooth. Add it to the boiling milk.
- Add the rice flour and salt and mix till a soft dough is formed. Remove from heat.Divide the dough into small equal portions and roll into balls.
- Wet your hands and roll a portion of the dough into a cylindrical shape. Join the edges to form small rings.Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry all the rings till crisp and golden.Remove on absorbent paper and serve hot with cheese dips.
