Coffee Ambrosia  Recipe

Hot coffee beverage, laced with a creamy liqueur

Coffee Ambrosia

Main Ingredients

Milk, Instant coffee powder

  • Milk
    3 cups
  • Instant coffee powder
    4 teaspoons
  • Sugar
    4 tablespoons
  • Vanilla ice cream
    4 small scoops
  • Coffee liqueur
    4 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat the milk and set aside. To make the coffee, combine the coffee powder and sugar in a large bowl.

Step 2

Add two to three tablespoons of hot water and whisk for six to eight minutes till the mixture changes colour and turns creamy.

Step 3

Pour the mixture into four large cups. Strain the milk and pour into the cups till three- fourth full and stir gently. Gently place a scoop of ice cream on the coffee in each cup.

Step 4

Drizzle a tablespoon of coffee liqueur over the ice cream and serve immediately.
