Ingredients for Coconut Sambol Recipe

  • Coconut 1/2 cup

  • Onions roughly chopped 1 medium

  • Green chillies roughly chopped 2

  • Garlic cloves 2-3

  • Red chilli powder 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Juice of 1 lemon

Method

Step 1

Put coconut, onion, chillies, garlic cloves, red chilli powder, salt, pepper powder and lemon juice in the bowl of a food processor and grind till smooth.

Step 2

Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
