Ingredients for Chokha Recipe

  • Brinjals 1 medium

  • Potatoes 1 1/2 medium

  • Garlic cloves 1-2

  • Green chillies 4-5

  • Potatoes boiled and peeled 2 medium

  • Salt to taste

  • Mustard oil 2-3 teaspoons


Step 1

Roast brinjal on direct heat till soft but not charred.

Step 2

Finely chop onions, garlic and green chillies. Mash potatoes and put into a bowl.

Step 3

Peel the roasted brinjal and mash along with the potatoes.

Step 4

Add onion, garlic and green chillies. Add salt and mustard oil and mix well.

Step 5

Transfer into a serving bowl and serve with litti.
