Ingredients list for Chocolate Nutty Banana

  • 1 cup Dark chocolate chopped
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts kernels roasted
  • 1/4 cup Peanuts roasted
  • 8 Small ripe (elaichi) bananas
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons White sesame seeds (til) toasted
  • as required Vanilla ice cream

Method

  1. Heat butter in a non-stick pan and let it melt.
  2. Put walnuts and peanuts in a mixer jar.
  3. Add chocolate to the pan and stir till the chocolate melts. Switch off heat and transfer into a bowl.
  4. Crush the nuts finely and transfer into another bowl. Peel bananas.
  5. Add sesame seeds to crushed nuts and mix well. Spread this mixture on a plate.
  6. Place a silicon sheet on another plate.
  7. Dip bananas in the butter-chocolate mixture, coat with crushed nut-sesame mixture and place on the silicon sheet. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or till set.
  8. Halve each banana diagonally and serve over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
