By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken boneless, Basmati rice Cuisine Fusion Course Rice Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Chilli Chicken Tomato Pulao 250 grams Chicken boneless 1 inch cubes 1 1/4 cups Basmati rice 1 inch piece Ginger roughly chopped 6-8 Garlic cloves roughly chopped 4-5 Green chillies roughly chopped 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds 3 Cloves 3 Green cardamoms 1 inch stick Cinnamon 2 tablespoons Oil to taste Salt 2 medium Tomatoes pureed 2 cups Chicken stock Method Advertisment Grind together ginger, garlic, green chillies, cumin seeds, cloves, green cardamoms, cinnamon and oil and grind to a smooth paste. Put the paste in a microwave proof bowl. Put the chicken pieces and salt and mix everything well. Cook in the microwave oven on HIGH for two minutes. Add the tomato puree and mix. Add the rice and mix. Add chicken stock and mix. Cover the bowl with cling wrap, punch some holes in the wrap and cook in the microwave on HIGH for five minutes. Reduce heat to MEDIUM and cook for seven more minutes. Allow standing time of five minutes. Remove the cling wrap carefully and serve hot with raita or yogurt.
