Ingredients for Chilled Yogurt Soup Recipe

  • Yogurt 2 cup

  • Cucumbers peeled 2 medium

  • Ginger finely chopped 1/2 inch

  • Green chillies finely chopped 2

  • Fresh mint leaves 12-15

  • Salt to taste

  • Ice cubes as required

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • Extra virgin olive oil 2 teaspoons

  • Crushed black peppercorns a pinch

  • Sumac powder a pinch

  • A fresh mint sprig


Step 1

Place garlic, ginger and green chillies in a blender jar.

Step 2

Deseed, roughly chop cucumbers and put the jar alongwith yogurt, mint leaves and salt and blend till smooth.

Step 3

Add ice cubes and blend again. Add lemon juice and olive oil and blend once again.

Step 4

Serve chilled garnished with crushed peppercorns, sumac powder and mint sprig.
