Ingredients for Chicken on Lemongrass Sticks Recipe

  • Chicken mince 400 grams

  • Lemongrass sticks long 8 four-inc

  • Garlic cloves finely chopped 5-6

  • Red chilli chopped 1

  • Fresh coriander stems finely chopped 6-8

  • Salt to taste

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Oil for shallow frying


Step 1

Put chicken mince, garlic, fresh red chilli, coriander stems, salt and crushed peppercorns in a bowl and mix well.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into eight equal portions. Dampen your palms and press each portion around a lemongrass stick.

Step 3

Heat some oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place the prepared sticks and shallow-fry on medium heat, rotating the sticks, till evenly golden all around and the chicken is fully cooked.

Step 4

Serve hot with sweet chilli sauce.
