Ingredients for Cheese And Moong Waffles Recipe

  • Cheese grated 1/2 cup

  • Whole Green Grams 1/2 cup

  • Eggs 3

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 1/2 cups

  • Salt to taste

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Baking soda 1 teaspoon

  • Sugar 1 tablespoon

  • Oil 1 cup

  • Buttermilk 1 cup

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon


Step 1

Break eggs into a bowl and whisk. Sift maida, salt, baking powder and baking soda into the bowl.

Step 2

Add sugar and mix everything well. Add oil and mix.

Step 3

Add buttermilk and whisk till you get a smooth batter with no lumps. Add moong, cheese and red chilli powder and mix well.

Step 4

Heat a waffle iron and brush with a little oil. Pour a little batter into, close the lid and let it cook for 1 minute.

Step 5

Baste with a little oil and let it cook for another 30 seconds. Serve hot with a sauce of your choice.
