Ingredients for Cereal Bhel Recipe

  • Cornflakes 1 cup

  • Rice Crispies 1 cup

  • Wheat flakes 1 cup

  • Onions finely chopped 3 medium

  • Tomatoes roughly chopped 3 medium

  • Masala dal 1/2 cup

  • Green chutney 2 1/2 tablespoons

  • Tamarind chutney 3 tablespoons

  • Green chillies finely chopped 2-3

  • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons + for garnishing

Method

Step 1

Mix cornflakes, rice crispies and wheat flakes in a bowl.

Step 2

Add onions, tomatoes, masala dal, green chutney, tamarind chutney, green chillies, red chilli powder, salt and lemon juice. Toss well.

Step 3

Add two tablespoons coriander leaves and mix.

Step 4

Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately garnished with coriander leaves.
