Ingredients list for Causa de Atun

  • 2 cups Potatoes mashed
  • 1 cup Tuna tinned
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 small Onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh jalapeno paste
  • 1 Egg hard boiled and sliced
  • 8-10 Black olives sliced

Method

  1. Combine potatoes, salt, crushed peppercorns and parsley in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Combine tuna, mayonnaise, onion, jalapeno paste salt in another bowl and mix well.
  3. Place a large ring mould on a serving plate. Add the potato mixture in it and level it out. Spread a layer of tuna mixture on top and remove the ring mould.
  4. Garnish with boiled egg slices and black olives and serve immediately.
