By Sanjeev Kapoor 03 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Whole Wheat Flour, Tomato Puree Cuisine Indian Course Breads Prep Time 51-60 minutes Cook time 51-60 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Carrot Tomato Puris 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour 2 medium Tomato Puree pureed tomatoes should be ripe 3 tablespoons Carrot grated 3 tablespoons Oil to deep fry to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder Method Extract juice of carrots and mix with tomato puree. Strain. Mix in three tablespoons oil, salt and red chilli powder into the flour. Knead into a medium stiff dough using the carrot-tomato mixture. Divide into lemon sized portions and roll out into small puris. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry puris. Remove and drain onto an absorbent paper.
