Ingredients for Candy cookies Recipe

  • Butter 1 medium

  • Brown Sugar 1 cup

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

  • Egg 2

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Refined flour (maida) 2 1/4 cups

  • Salt 1/4 teaspoon

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Gems 1 cup


Step 1

Pre heat oven to 375°C. Cream the butter and both the sugars until light and fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla essence .

Step 2

In a separate bowl mix together maida, baking soda and salt.

Step 3

Add the flour mixture in parts to the butter mixture and beat well. Add the gems in it and mix well.

Step 4

Pour in greased cake tin and bake it in the preheated oven for twenty to twenty five minutes.Remove and cool it. Serve.
