Ingredients for Buttermilk Oats Pancakes Recipe

  • Buttermilk 1 cup

  • Oats 1 cup

  • Refined flour (maida) 1/4 cup

  • Powdered sugar 2 tablespoons

  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoons

  • Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon

  • Cinnamon powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Salt a pinch

  • Melted butter 2 tablespoons + for cooking

  • Egg 1


Step 1

Put oats, flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and salt in a bowl and mix well.

Step 2

Put buttermilk, two tablespoons of melted butter and egg into another bowl and mix well. Add this mixture to the flour mixture and whisk well.

Step 3

Heat melted butter in a non-stick pan. Pour a ladleful of batter on it, spread into a pancake and cook, turning sides, till both sides are lightly browned.

Step 4

Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
