Broad Beans With Chicken Recipe - how to make Broad Beans With Chicken

  • Boneless chicken cubed 1 inch600 grams

  • Broad beans (sem ki phalli/papdi) soaked Boiled1/2 cup

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Mixed herbs 1 teaspoon

  • Crushed red chillies 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Onions chopped3 medium

  • Garlic chopped10 cloves

  • Carrots cubed2 medium

  • Tomatoes chopped3 medium

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • White pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Green chilli chopped2 Big


Step 1

Marinate the chicken cubes in one tablespoon of oil, mixed dried herbs, crushed red chillies and salt for about fifteen minutes.

Step 2

Heat the remaining oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté. Add garlic and continue to sauté till translucent. Add carrots and sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes, salt and continue to cook.

Step 3

Add sugar, white pepper powder, green chillies and continue to cook for another two to three minutes. Add chicken cubes, boiled broad beans and two cups of water.

Step 4

Mix and when the water comes to a boil, cover and cook on medium heat till done. Serve hot with Pidde (a kind of bread).
