By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Jan 2019 in Recipes Veg New Update Bhuni Makai ka Soup Main Ingredients Corn kernels (makai), Garlic Cuisine Indian Course Soups Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 20-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 2 cups corn kernels (makai) 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon butter 4-5 garlic cloves 1 large onion, sliced 4 cups vegetable stock Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves Method Heat oil and butter in a deep non-stick pan. Add garlic and onions, mix and sauté till onions turn golden brown. Add corn kernels and mix. Add vegetable stock and stir to mix. Add salt and crushed peppercorns, mix, cover and simmer till corn kernels are tender. Blend smoothly, strain into another pan on heat and heat.
