Ingredients list for Banana Fritters a La Sri Lanka

  • 4 Banana
  • 1 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Milk (Cow's milk)
  • a cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
  • to taste Salt
  • for deep-frying Oil
  • Honey for drizzling

Method

  1. Break the egg and put into a bowl, add milk, wheat flour and salt and whisk to make a smooth batter.
  2. Peel and cut bananas into thin strips.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  4. Dip banana strips in the batter, slide into hot oil till crisp and deep-fry till golden brown.
  5. Arrange them on a serving platter, drizzle honey and serve hot.
