Ingredients list for Baked Chicken

  • 1 medium Chicken cut into medium pieces
  • 1 inch Ginger peeled
  • 10-15 Garlic cloves
  • 4-5 Green chillies
  • 10-15 Fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup Fresh fenugreek leaves
  • 10-12 Fresh spinach leaves
  • 2 medium Onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt thick
  • 1/2 cup Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • to taste Salt
  • for garnishing Onion rings

Method

  1. Preheat oven at 180º C.
  2. Grind together ginger, garlic, green chilies, coriander, mint, fenugreek, spinach, onions and yogurt till smooth. Transfer into a bowl.
  3. Add chicken pieces, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt and mix well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Place marinate chicken on a baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Drizzle lemon juice.
  6. Serve hot garnished with onion rings.
