Baked Chana Tikki

Ingredients for Baked Chana Tikki Recipe

  • Chickpeas (kabuli chana) boiled 10 teaspoons

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) 200 grams

  • Onion chopped 1 medium

  • Mushrooms chopped 1 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Green capsicum chopped 2 small

  • Oil 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh mint leaves chopped 2 teaspoons

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 teaspoons

  • Carrot to cook

  • Radish

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C.

Step 2

Heat 1 tsp oil in a non stick pan, add onion and sauté till soft. Add mushrooms, salt and capsicum. Mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.

Step 3

Break paneer and put in a blender jar with chana. Blend well and transfer into a bowl.

Step 4

Add mint leaves, coriander leaves and mushroom mixture and mix well.

Step 5

Divide into equal portions and shape into tikkis. Place tikkis on a silicon sheet placed on a baking tray. Brush with little oil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Step 6

Serve hot garnish with carrot and radish strips.
