Ingredients list for Baked Chana Tikki
- 10 teaspoons Chickpeas (kabuli chana) boiled
- 200 grams Paneer (cottage cheese)
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 1 cup Mushrooms chopped
- to taste Salt
- 2 small Green capsicum chopped
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- 2 teaspoons Fresh mint leaves chopped
- 2 teaspoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- to cook Carrot
- Radish
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a non stick pan, add onion and sauté till soft. Add mushrooms, salt and capsicum. Mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
- Break paneer and put in a blender jar with chana. Blend well and transfer into a bowl.
- Add mint leaves, coriander leaves and mushroom mixture and mix well.
- Divide into equal portions and shape into tikkis. Place tikkis on a silicon sheet placed on a baking tray. Brush with little oil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot garnish with carrot and radish strips.
