Ingredients for Apple Cake Recipe

  • Apples (650 gms), peeled, thinly sliced and mixed with le 4 medium

  • Eggs 4

  • Sugar 150 grams

  • Refined flour (maida) 150 grams

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Salt a pinch

  • Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon

  • Melted butter 115 grams


Step 1

Preheat oven at 180º C.

Step 2

Break eggs into a bowl. Add sugar and beat with an electric beater till you get ribbon consistency. Add apples.

Step 3

Sift together refined flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon powder into the bowl and mix well. Add melted butter and mix well.

Step 4

Grease a square cake tin with oil and dust with refined flour. Pour the batter into the tin.

Step 5

Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake for 50-55 minutes.

Step 6

Remove from the oven, cool down to room temperature, cut into big pieces and serve.
