Grease a square cake tin with some butter and dust with a little flour. Break eggs into a mixing bowl and beat with an electric beater till a little frothy. Add sugar and beat till light and fluffy. Add apples. Sift together refined flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon powder into the bowl and mix well. Add melted butter and mix well. Pour the batter into the tin. Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake for 50-55 minutes. Remove from the oven, cool down to room temperature, cut into big pieces and serve on a serving platter.
