Fresh eggs will stay at the bottom while stale eggs stand on end or float.

Ingredients for Anda Papdi Chaat Recipe

  • Eggs boiled, peeled and chopped 4

  • Papdi crushed 8-10

  • Onion chopped 1 medium

  • Tomato chopped 1 medium

  • Mixed sprouts boiled 1/4 cup

  • Potato boiled, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes 1 large

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Green chutney 3 teaspoons

  • Tamarind chutney 3 teaspoons

  • Green chillies chopped 2

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Nylon sev 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Put the eggs, onion, tomato, sprouts, potato, one tablespoon coriander leaves, green chutney, tamarind chutney, green chillies, red chilli powder and salt into a deep bowl. Toss once.

Step 2

Add crushed papdi and mix.

Step 3

Garnish with nylon sev and remaining coriander leaves and serve immediately.
