By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Oct 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potatoes, Cauliflower Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Aloo Gobhi Methi 2 medium Potatoes cut into wedges 1 small Cauliflower cut into florets 1 cup Fresh fenugreek (methi) finely chopped 1 tablespoon Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds ½ teaspoon Asafoetida 1 inch Ginger cut into strips 2 Green chilli slit ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Chaat masala to taste Salt Method Heat one tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan; add cumin seeds and asafoetida. When the seeds begin to change colour, add ginger, green chilli and sauté for one minute. Add potatoes. Cover and cook for 3 minutes Add cauliflower florets, sprinkle around two tablespoons of water and cook for 5 minutes. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, salt and methi. Mix well.
