Ingredients for Aloo Bhaja Recipe

  • Potatoes peeled 7-8 medium

  • Oil 6 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon


Step 1

Cut potatoes into thin strips and keep them soaked in water.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non-stick pan.

Step 3

Remove potatoes from water and lightly squeeze the extra water and put them in a bowl.

Step 4

Add salt and turmeric powder and mix.

Step 5

Add the potatoes to the pan and shallow-fry, stirring to ensure even cooking, till crisp and lightly browned.

Step 6

Drain and place on absorbent paper.

Step 7

Serve them hot in shot glasses.
