Ingredients for Almond Biscuits Recipe

  • Almonds sliced 80 grams

  • Refined Flour 150 grams

  • Butter 50 grams + to grease

  • Brown sugar 100 grams

  • Eggs 2


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease the baking tray with butter.

Step 2

Cream butter and brown sugar in a bowl till light and fluffy.

Step 3

Separate egg whites, add to the mixture and whisk till the eggs are incorporated into the mixture.

Step 4

Add refined flour and almond slices and fold into the mixture and make a soft dough.

Step 5

Roll the dough into one-fourth inch thick sheet. Cut with square shaped cookie cutter, place them on a baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for fifteen to twenty minutes or till the cookies turn light brown.

Step 6

Remove the tray from the oven and cool. Arrange the biscuits on a serving plate and serve.
