Aam Ka Panna  Recipe

Made from raw mangoes, this is an ideal drink for hot summer days.

Aam Ka Panna

Main Ingredients

Green mangoes, Roasted cumin powder





Level Of Cooking



  • Green mangoes
    1 kilogram
  • Roasted cumin powder
    4 teaspoons
  • Black salt (kala namak)
    2 teaspoons
  • Salt
    to taste
  • Sugar
    3 cups


Step 1

Wash and boil the mangoes. Let them cool. Cool, peel, mash and strain the pulp.

Step 2

Add five cups of water and mix well and cook till well blended.

Step 3

Add the cumin powder, black salt, salt and sugar. Mix well till sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool. Chill in the refrigerator.

Step 4

Pour into tall glasses as required and dilute with chilled water as per your taste.

Step 5

Serve immediately.

Chef Tip

You can also dilute it with soda instead of water.
