Chutney special

Menu: Chutney is one of those important aspects of Indian food. Anyone and everyone loves this simple thing as an accompaniment for sure, but here there are some recipes which use this preparation as one of the ingredients itself. Try out the flavourful Chutney Dosa alongwith a very fresh Aloo Chutney Pulao with an exciting Chutneywale Aloo Gobi.

Shopping list

½ kg dosa batter

1 bunch mint leaves

1 pomegranate

50 grams black salt

200 grams baby potatoes

½ kg Basmati rice 

1 medium cauliflower

½ kg cherry tomatoes

For faster preparation

Make the chutney ready and mix with the dosa batter. Soak the rice and peel the baby potatoes for the pulao. Peel and cut the potatoes in small pieces, ginger in juliennes and diagonally cut the green chillies for the sabzi.

How to go about it

Heat a tawa and spread the dosa batter in a round shape. Cook till light golden brown and serve. Heat oil in a pan, add the spices, vegetables, rice and water to it. Cover and cook till rice is cooked and serve hot. Heat oil and add the spices, vegetables and toss and cook till vegetables are cooked for the sabzi and serve.
